“When Elvis had friends and family visit Graceland, he would have them stay at a hotel down the street. He would have been thrilled to have had his own guest house where they could stay so close by. Lisa and I, and our entire family, are excited that visitors from around the world can now experience our unique resort hotel — The Guest House at Graceland.” – PRISCILLA PRESLEY
Day 3 You can’t come to Memphis without a visit to Graceland. While the house may not seem big by today’s standards, in the 1950s it was downright opulent. We’ll spend the morning exploring Elvis' home and follow his amazing journey to music super-stardom through exhibit after exhibit of museum-quality videos, personal mementos, displays of authentic clothing, an incredible showcase of awards, and much more. Experience how the King of Rock 'n' Roll lived as you tour his mansion, step aboard his custom jets, and check out his collection of cars. This afternoon features a movie in the Guest House theatre. This evening it’s time to don your Blue Suede Shoes as we head to the Iconic Beale St and check out the bars and have dinner on your own. (B)
