DAY 3 We hit the open seas today aboard a lobster luncheon cruise! Expand your knowledge and become a true lobster connoisseur as your guide explains the history and art of lobster fishing, offering a hands-on experience. Enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked lobster feast while taking in the scenic views of Shediac Bay and listening to traditional Acadian music. DAY 4 Enjoy a guided tour of the Island’s North Shore, also known as the Green Gables Shore Coastal Drive, which captures the hearts of many! DAY 5 & 6 Our next 2 days are spent within a tranquil setting along the Brudenell River. DAY 7 Head across the Northumberland Strait into "Canada's Ocean Playground" of Nova Scotia, where our first stop is the Museum of Industry filled with interactive exhibits and displays showcasing Nova Scotia’s industrial past. DAY 8 Join us on an adventure around the world-famous Cabot Trail, a 185-mile scenic drive traversing the glorious Cape Breton Highlands, with beautiful ocean vistas, quaint fishing communities and the rugged natural beauty of Cape Breton Highland National park. DAY 9 It’s time to SEAze the day and let the salty breezes and breathtaking views welcome us. After checking into our newly renovated Nautical-inspired OCEANVIEW guest rooms, take time to unwind along the South Shore’s scenic coast for the next 3 nights. DAY 10 Enjoy a walking tour of Lunenburg, a town’s whose distinctive architecture and extraordinary scenic beauty is a colourful reminder of their maritime heritage. We’ll head back to the resort where the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll take a guided boat ride that explores the mysteries of Oak Island and the magic of the greater Mahone Bay area.
DAY 11 Travel along the Lighthouse Route to Peggy’s Cove, which has been an artists’ and explorers’ paradise for well over 150 years. This village is located right on the rugged Atlantic Shoreline, standing on solid rock above the crashing surf. The coastline is famous for pirates, shipwrecks, rum-running and sunsets. You’ll be sure to see the weatherworn fishing shacks, colourful buoys and lobster traps, and awe-inspiring rock formations. Enjoy lunch overlooking the ocean-smoothed rocks and dramatic seascape. Following Peggy’s Cove, our guide will take us on an informative and fun-filled ride through the streets of Halifax which will immerse you in the history and culture of the city. This evening we’ll take in the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo where a blend of modern spectacle with historical medleys treats audiences to quite a show.
